HAVi Organization "Fast Track" Technical Seminar

The Fast Track Technical Seminar will be organised by the HAVi organisation and will consist of a series of lectures presented by engineers of Philips, Sony, Thomson Multimedia and Grundig. These are four of the eight companies who contributed to the HAVi specification. Each of the presenters will focus their presentation on a specific part of the HAVi standard and will explain the technical details and ideas behind it. Since IEEE 1394 is an important technology embraced by HAVi, one of the lectures will also be devoted to the general principles underlying this system.

This seminar is for HAVi members only, but we would like to give all companies that are interested the opportunity to register as a member. This can be done either before Monday October 30th by e-mail via the HAVi web-site or personally on Monday October 30th between 15.00 and 18.00 hrs in the Dorint hotel in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. At a fee of $ 10.000,00 you will become a member of the HAVi group and you can attend the seminar on Tuesday October 31.
