As promised, we now have more details to provide for the next HAVi Member/Guest meeting, which will be held Friday, November 16, 2001 at the Park Hyatt in San Francisco, California. The Technical Steering Committee (TSC) meeting will be held Thursday, November 15, 2001 at the Park Hyatt in San Francisco, California. These meeting are open to all members, however the TSC meeting is for members only. Please read further for details. PLEASE PAY PARTICULAR ATTENTION TO THE HOTEL ROOM BLOCK CUTOFF DATE OF MONDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2001. We hope you will attend one or both meetings.

TECHNICAL/STEERING COMMITTEE MEETING
The Technical Steering Committee, open to members only, will be held, Thursday, November 15, 2001. A working agenda will be posted shortly, however, the meeting will focus on existing activities, future plans and reports from the technical working groups.

Hotel Room Rate: A hotel guestroom rate is US$190.00 single or double room per night. Please make your reservations directly with the hotel and mention HAVi to secure this price. Please note that we have reserved this block of rooms at special group rates, and in order to keep the catering costs and sleeping and meeting room rental rates low, you are strongly discouraged from taking accommodation at other area hotels. HAVi may have to pay a substantial penalty if the minimum guarantee is not met. The sleeping room rate that the Park Hyatt San Francisco is offering us is excellent! The cutoff date for our room block is Monday, November 5, 2001. The special room rate is not guaranteed after this time. You are responsible for booking your own guestroom. The hotel accepts all major credit cards.
Transportation: The San Francisco International Airport is approximately 30 minutes away from the Park Hyatt San Francisco Hotel. Transportation is available from the airport to the Park Hyatt Hotel via taxi or shuttle.

In order for us to provide comfortable accommodations for everyone, it is crucial that everyone register before the meeting(s). We will be providing continental breakfast, 2 breaks and lunch each day.
